Mural Painting Project for Aurora Colorado

Mural Painting Project for Aurora Colorado to be Featured at Restaurant Row’s Upcoming
ArtWalk & Car Show

San Marcos, California -- The local community is invited to participate in creating a 5’ x 12’ canvas mural on site at Old California Restaurant Row on Sunday, August 5 that will be sent to Aurora, Colorado.  This one-time-only special event is being coordinated by Artmiles and the San Marcos Arts Council in an effort to promote peace, harmony and community support for the city of Aurora.

The mural project is just one of the activities that will take place as Old California Restaurant Row gears up to host its next ArtWalk & Car Show.  The August 5 event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. and will feature original works on sale by over 40 local artists and craftsmen, including several artists who are participating in the ArtWalk for the first time.

Held on the first Sunday of each month near the Village Shops at Old California Restaurant Row, “ArtWalk” is a free and lively experience for the community to enjoy and appreciate the arts. The August 5 event will also include a live piano performance by singer-songwriter and private piano instructor Mike Rudolph.
