On April 20th, 2012 the students of CSUSM partnered with High Tech High and created an exciting event called "Keep Art Alive" at the CSUSM Art Gallery in
Restaurant Row with the purpose of keeping art in the classroom. The artwork provided by the students will be auctioned off and all the money raised will be donated to Centre Artes Organization, which supports and encourages arts education and arts advocacy in San Diego County schools and communities.
